Service dates and times will be confirmed in advance. While we strive to meet agreed schedules, unforeseen circumstances (such as weather, supply delays, or access issues) may require rescheduling.
We reserve the right to refuse or postpone service if site conditions are unsafe, access is restricted, or necessary information is not provided.

Client Responsibilities

Ensure clear, safe, and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time.
Advise us in advance of any hazards, building restrictions, or special site requirements.
Provide accurate and complete information regarding the premises and any existing electrical systems relevant to the service.
Secure all necessary permissions, strata approvals, or landlord consent prior to commencement of work.

Limitations & Exclusions

We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or code violations in existing electrical systems or appliances.
Our services do not include structural modifications, repairs to unrelated appliances, or work outside the agreed scope unless otherwise stated in writing.
We do not guarantee the performance or suitability of third-party products or appliances supplied by the client.
Any additional work identified during the service will be quoted separately and will require your approval before proceeding.

Warranties & Liability

All workmanship is warranted for a period specified in your invoice or quote, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Manufacturer warranties for appliances or parts are the responsibility of the manufacturer; we will assist with documentation where possible.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the service or refunding the service fee, as appropriate.

Payment Terms, Cancellations & Legal Provisions

Payment Terms

All pricing will be confirmed in writing prior to commencement of work, either via a formal quote or invoice.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by cash, EFT, or other methods as specified on your invoice.
For commercial clients or large projects, a deposit or progress payments may be required. These terms will be outlined in your service agreement.
Late payments may incur interest charges or administrative fees as permitted by law. Outstanding accounts may be referred to a collection agency if not settled within the agreed timeframe.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a call-out fee to cover costs incurred.
Sydney Rangehoods reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, extreme weather, supply issues, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a new service time.
Repeated cancellations or failure to provide access to the property may result in refusal of future service.

Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us promptly so we can address your concerns in good faith.
We aim to resolve all disputes amicably and professionally. If a resolution cannot be reached, either party may seek mediation or other remedies as permitted under Australian law.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance

All work is performed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, local regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements.
Sydney Rangehoods holds all necessary licences and insurances for electrical work in New South Wales.
Nothing in these Terms of Service limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sydney Rangehoods' liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the service or providing a refund for the affected service.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or property damage beyond the scope of our work.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all appliances and electrical systems not installed or serviced by Sydney Rangehoods are safe and compliant.
